Sending a credit carte payment to yourself through Paypal?

I want to transport a Paypal payment to myself using my credit card. I don't want this to be considered a cash advance by Paypal or my credit carte company. I will be using 2 Paypal accounts, both in my name. Is at that place any reason this wouldn't work? I'm hoping the only fees will be those imposed by Paypal (ii.ix% + $.thirty transaction fee).

I wouldn't play games like that in an attempt to circumvent cash advance fees.

What rules am I breaking? I'm sending money to myself. I'grand using a credit card instead of an available Paypal balance or a bank transfer. I have a perfect credit rating so its non equally if my credit card company will be suspicious (I've never carried a residual). The balance will be paid off immediately as I've e'er washed in the past.

What rules am I breaking? I'chiliad sending coin to myself. I'm using a credit card instead of an bachelor Paypal balance or a bank transfer. I take a perfect credit rating so its not every bit if my credit carte company will be suspicious (I've never carried a balance). The balance will exist paid off immediately as I've ever done in the by.

If the balance will be paid of immediately, you're probable paying paypal too much if you lot pay them two.nine%. My greenbacks advance rate averages 21%. That's 1.75%/month. There's as well a $2.50 greenbacks advance fee. I approximate it depends on how much you want to cash accelerate.

The two.ix% fees are fine. I'k doing this not to get the greenbacks. Its for other reasons. :) I realize that greenbacks accelerate fees could be much lower if its repaid chop-chop.
I'll probably merely ship money to myself with my credit card to run across how the credit card company and Paypal treat it. Sometimes simply doing information technology is the only way to actually know. If I send a dollar it should cost iii cents plus the transaction fee of 30 cents. I can afford it. Considering I'one thousand a histrion. :)

You're not really a player, because yous are trying to scam points/rewards from your card. this is why you keep request us if it will be treated as greenbacks advance or if it will wait like a regular purchase.

Anyways, skilful luck, if your credit card visitor finds out the will abolish your account. Just FYI, player ;)

Earlier this year, the company I work for decided to give anybody a $1000 bonus. We thought information technology would come on our pay cheques only it came in the form of 10 $100 visa gift cards. Some of us were disappointed, seeing as we thought it would be cash. Then one of the girls in the office signed upwards for Square. She used all the cards and the cash was in her bank account within a day or two, minus a % for the fees (~2% I think). They all showed up as purchases on the bill of fare to whatever she had named her Foursquare store. I'm not sure if the aforementioned matter would work to "fool" your card for a greenbacks advance.

I thought then besides. We didn't get taxed on information technology (yet) so only losing ~2% is pretty good! You lot tin can't pay your mortgage, motorcar payment, etc with Visa gift cards, lol.

I tried that exact transactions to earn CC points and Paypal reversed them after they establish out.
It is legal if you send your credit menu payment to another Paypal acct not in you name. Then only ask your family unit member to open up a Paypal acct for you lot.

Jokes aside, CC companies have e'er treated whatever paypal transactions I've done as normal purchases. In fact, I don't know if there'south any way to make a paypal transaction testify up as a cash accelerate. So load those cards up to your hearts content OP.

Take you had a bad experience with them? Or are you lot thinking they will nullify this transaction on principle? Theoretically it should work. I think.

> I tried that verbal transactions to earn CC points and Paypal reversed them after they found out.

That is a VERY expert warning. How long did information technology have for them to reverse information technology? I won't be attempting this for a few weeks probably.

Aye, that would definitely piece of work. Thank you again.

I definitely don't desire to experience the trauma of Paypal prison walls. Duly noted.

Yes, in theory, but it may be they take a dim view of this. If its against their rules I don't want to do information technology. I'm not trying to exist a rebel hither. But was wondering if its possible. Paypal has always treated me very well and I don't want to have bad history with them. I called them a while back most this only the operators are very limited in what they tin can say. It seemed to exist OK with them but Paypal may look at the intention and try to squash it. Or they may have bigger fish to fry than my piddly footling transaction.

Keep in mind that fraud algorithms are probably full of checks like: $1 sent, await a 24-hour interval, $chiliad sent... trigger fraud investigation, business relationship lockdown, etc... :)

It'south clever to an extent ... simply ... y'all are going to spend $1k over the form of a calendar month anyways, right? on normal stuff. why non just use the cards up as yous get?

if y'all hate the idea of having to track the balance on the cards because you lot get declined when they get over-charged, then simply purchase some souvenir cards.

2 x $100 to a grocery store, $100 for gas, 3 x $100 for Costco ...

Those will become used up in a calendar month and yous have saved yourself $thousand of your own money without spending $20 to get it quicker.

Yes, information technology volition be counted as a purchase instead of a cash-advance.

No, you should not exist sending from your business relationship to another account / email address in your proper noun.
Should be a unlike name, and I'd recommend yous spacing things out a chip...
